Neighborhood Health Project (NHP) and PAUSE Volunteer Opportunity: Help Restock Community Health Pantries!
Join the Community Health Pantry Project, an initiative dedicated to improving well-being and health equity in New Haven. Our pantries provide essential items—Narcan, menstrual health products, hygiene products, socks, and soap—to individuals experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or other challenges.
We are seeking volunteers to help restock our pantries every two weeks. Resource boxes are pre-filled and located at 57 Olive Street for easy access. Volunteers will receive clear instructions, and donations are always welcomed to sustain and expand our efforts and pantry offerings. You will be given a $5 gift card for each drop-off you do, sent to the email provided on sign-up!
Restocking locations include:
-
St. Paul & St. James Church (57 Olive St)
- The New Haven Pride Center (50 Orange St)
- Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (266 State St Drop-in & Resource Center)
By volunteering, you’ll help ensure that essential health and hygiene products reach those who need them most. Sign up today and be part of building a healthier, more equitable community!
